I am currently working on a new business field in our company.

The first is to help local companies hire global talent. There are many companies in rural areas with advanced technologies that are indispensable for the future of Japanese society, but there are also a variety of issues unique to rural areas.

The Shikoku region, where I am from, has particularly serious problems, and I started this initiative with the hope of contributing to my hometown. At first, no one was sure if it works or not, but I visited companies many times, working with local governments and partner companies to develop new customers. The companies that actually hire them are very pleased and say, "Until now, only high school students were our only available candidates, but when I looked overseas…! I never dreamed that a university graduate with such great skills would come to us.".

When I first joined the company, there were no customers in the Shikoku region, but now I communicate with customers in the Shikoku region almost every week.

The second is the support for companies that want to use Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) , a new status of residence established in 2019.

This status of residence was initiated under the leadership of the government with the aim of matching young people from overseas who want to work in Japan with those from industries with a serious labor shortage, and creating a healthier foreign labor system from the technical intern training system, which has been criticized by the international community and has been subject to widespread violations of laws and regulations.

It is not easy to find customers who will take on the challenge of this new system because the scheme has just been established, but I think that whether we can make Japan's new foreign worker system healthier and sustainable depends on our efforts during the introduction period.

I feel that we have a great responsibility not only to start new businesses in our company, but also to ensure that this system takes root in a better way in the Japanese society.

I joined Fourth Valley to provide opportunities for candidates who have a desire such as "I want to use my talents and skills to change the status quo, live where I want, and live a happy life." and to realize the possibility of happiness for more people.

Candidates from developing countries with less favorable living environments and economies may have the same talents and skills as those from developed countries, but the difference in the environment alone leads to a pay gap, and of course, their real lives are completely different. Since I started working in Fourth Valley, I have realized that more foreign students in foreign countries than I had imagined are looking for jobs in Japan, and I am very excited every day. I find it very rewarding when I feel that my efforts have given me the opportunity to work across national boundaries and have had a great impact on the lives of the candidates.

The current business model is "From the World to Japan" but the age of "From world to world" will come. This is also the goal of Shibasaki as the Founder and CEO, and our company. I would like to see companies and candidates from around the world learn about our company and use our company's services in the future.
